In China a 22 year old women tried to jump to her death because her fiance stood her up at the alter. what could drive a women to do such a thing? could it be the embarrassment of putting in so much work in something and being left? Or something much deeper? we've seen recent stories of women doing unthinkable things because of a man. woman drives herself and kids into the river because boyfriend was treating her bad and most recent housemaid has a love child and sits as an undercover side chick while living in house with former LA Governor and his family. What makes us do these things? is it the fact that we are so afraid of being alone that we are wiling to put up wit assholes, womanizers and abusers just to have a man in our lives. It happens I have to admit to falling victim to this way of thinking. I'm thinking maybe we should come together and have groups teaching women that its ok to be alone sometimes. maybe we should just take a break from men for a bit and learn how love to be with ourselves.
